In the past, if you pre-order a case, they will roast them for you. Then you just pick them up.
When is the HyVee in Rock Island Illinois going to get hatch chilies?
How much do you get? (A case? A box? A sack?) And how much do they cost? We were planing a trip to new Mexico for the fest but if the price is the same we won’t go. ?
Hatch chiles are also available at Hy-Vee in Springfield, usually at the end of August thru the second week of September. I put my name on the list every year for two boxes.
Do you have to preorder the peppers?
No. The store should have them… I would suggest pre-orders just in case they sell out. Better safe than sorry Betsy! =)
